In Vietnam, Ninh Thuan province is renowned for its extensive grape cultivation, thanks to its ideal climate and soil conditions. Surprisingly, a grape vineyard has emerged in Nam Yen hamlet, Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.
This vineyard is part of a tourist attraction called Yen Valley. Nestled along the picturesque Cu De River, Yen Valley boasts a diverse landscape of flowers, trees, and a sprawling garden adorned with roses and fruit-bearing trees, spanning an impressive 2 hectares.
Mr. Hien, the vineyard owner, shared that cultivating these succulent grapes was a labor of love that required three years of dedicated study and practice. Despite the climatic and soil differences between Da Nang and Ninh Thuan, with meticulous care and the right techniques, he successfully cultivated various grape varieties.
Currently, Yen Valley boasts nearly 1,000 grapevines producing a steady yield of seedless black grapes and candy grapes. Since the vineyard’s harvest, it has gained significant popularity among tourists. To complement the grape experience, the valley offers an array of other fruits such as guava, jackfruit, and strawberries, alongside an organic vegetable garden, providing visitors with a comprehensive farm-to-table experience.
